李晓江夫妇昨日被埃默里大学解雇，正考虑回国工作_图1

埃默里大学内部公开解雇两位华人学者

在李晓江实验室被关闭一周之后，5月23日美国埃默里大学终于打破沉默，发表内部公开邮件说明突然关闭该校医学院人类遗传系杰出终身教授李晓江的实验室的原因。邮件由埃默里大学医学院院长 Vikas Sukhatme 发送给医学院所有成员。

邮件内容不长，核心内容包括两点：

其一， “埃默里大学不再雇佣人类遗传系的两位教授（two professors in the Department of Human Genetics, who are no longer employed at Emory University）”。

其二， “响应NIH政策（注：美高校调查国外势力）进行调查后发现，埃默里大学做出如下决定，李晓江和李世华未充分公开来自国外的研究经费，以及在中国研究机构和大学工作的范围（through the course of an investigation prompted by an NIH inquiry, Emory determined that these faculty members had failed to fully disclose foreign sources of research funding and the extent of their work for research institutions and universities in China）”。
