一、escape的不及物动词用法：表示“逃脱”、“漏出”
作为不及物动词，escape可以单独使用，也可以根据表意的需求与各种介词连用，“escape from”是最常见的用法，意为“从…逃脱、从…漏出” 。

二、escape的及物动词用法：表示“躲避”、“被遗忘”
作为及物动词，escape的用法比较简单，只需在后面直接加上宾语 。值得特别注意的是，虽然escape做及物动词，但是不可以用于被动语态 。这一点从它的词义上也可以看出来 。

三、escape的名词用法：表示“逃走、漏出、逃走的手段、逃避现实（的方法、消遣）”
作为名词，escape的词义与它不及物动词的词义基本吻合，但可以拓展为一种手段，方式等 。在高考范畴内，escape的用法一般不做名词词性使用的要求 。
