Afterentering the country foreigners may change the reasons for stayinggive entry convenience according to state regulations or need tostay in groups due to objective reasons after entering the countrywith new passports or group visas.
对外国人入境后按照国家规定可以变更停留事由、给与入境便利或者因使用新护照、持团体签证入境后由于客观原因需要分团停留 ， 可以换发签证 。

申请签证换发所需证明材料
Forforeigners who can change the reason for stay or give entryconvenience according to the state regulations after entering thecountry or who need to apply for a change of ordinary visa for agroup stay after entering the country with a new passport or groupvisa due to objective reasons the following supporting materialsshall be submitted:
对外国人入境后按照国家规定可以变更停留事由、给予入境便利或者因换持新护照、持团体签证入境后由于客观原因需要分团停留申请换发普通签证 ， 应当提交下列证明材料：
1.To apply for the renewal of Visa F a letter of certification issuedby the inviting unit shall be submitted. A zero one two or morevisas with entry validity of no more than one year and stay durationof no more than 180 days may be renewed. For those who meet thenational regulations on high-level foreign talents and investorsmultiple visas with entry validity of no more than 5 years and stayperiod of no more than 180 days may be issued.
1.申请换发F字签证 ， 应当提交邀请单位出具的证明函件 ， 可以换发入境有效期不超过1年 ， 停留期不超过180日的零次、一次、二次或者多次签证 。 对符合国家有关外国高层次人才和投资者规定的人员 ， 可以换发入境有效期不超过5年、停留期不超过180日的多次签证 。
2.To apply for a new J2 visa a letter of certification issued by theforeign affairs department of the provincial people's governmentshall be submitted. A zero visa with a stay of no more than 30 dayscan be renewed.
2.申请换发J2字签证 ， 应当提交省级人民政府外事部门出具的证明函件 。 可以换发停留期不超过30日的零次签证 。
3.To apply for the renewal of Visa M a letter of certification issuedby the inviting unit shall be submitted. A zero one two or morevisas with entry validity of no more than one year and stay durationof no more than 180 days may be renewed.
3.申请换发M字签证 ， 应当提交邀请单位出具的证明函件 ， 可以换发入境有效期不超过1年 ， 停留期不超过180日的零次、一次、二次或者多次签证 。
4.To apply for the renewal of a Q2 visa a letter issued by the personbeing visited proof of identity and proof of family membership shallbe submitted. A zero one two or multiple visa may be renewed forentry with a validity period of no more than one year and a stayperiod of no more than 180 days.
4.申请换发Q2字签证 ， 应当提交被探望人出具的函件、身份证明、家庭成员关系证明 。 可以换发入境有效期不超过1年 ， 停留期不超过180日的零次、一次、二次或者多次签证 。
5.To apply for the renewal of Visa R the applicant shall submitevidentiary materials conforming to the conditions and requirementsfor the introduction of high-level foreign talents and urgentlyneeded and scarce specialized talents determined by the competentauthorities of the Chinese Government as well as evidentiary lettersissued by the inviting and receiving units. A zero one two or moretimes visa may be renewed with an entry validity of no more than 5years and a stay of no more than 180 days.
5.申请换发R字签证 ， 应当提交符合中国政府主管部门确定的外国高层次人才和急需紧缺专门人才引进条件和要求规定的证明材料以及邀请、接待单位出具的证明函件 。 可以换发入境有效期不超过5年 ， 停留期不超过180日的零次、一次、二次或者多次签证 。
6.To apply for a new S2 visa the family visitor shall submit theletter issued by the person being visited the foreigner's residencecertificate and the family member relationship certificate. Otherpersonnel shall submit relevant evidentiary materials withhumanitarian reasons. A zero or one time visa with an entry validityof no more than 3 months and a stay of no more than 180 days may berenewed.
6.申请换发S2字签证 ， 探亲人员应当提交被探望人出具的函件、外国人居留证件和家庭成员关系证明 。 其他人员应当提交具有人道原因的相关证明材料 。 可以换发入境有效期不超过3个月 ， 停留期不超过180日的零次或者一次签证 。
7.To apply for a new X2 visa a letter issued by an education andtraining institution in China and a certificate of admission andenrollment shall be submitted. A zero one or two visa may berenewed with an entry validity of no more than one year and a stayof no more than 180 days.
