As the world is experiencing the most serious global public health emergency since the end of World War II, China has made painstaking efforts and enormous sacrifice to turn the tide on the virus and has protected the life and health of the people. All along, China has acted with openness, transparency and responsibility. It has provided information to WHO and relevant countries in a most timely fashion. Meanwhile, shared control and treatment experience with the world without reservation. China has done everything in the country’s power to support and assist countries in need, and is still doing more to build a global community of health for all.

Entering winter, the virus is still raging, bringing the world struggling under the heavier weight of this on-going pandemic. More hopes are therefore raised of working vaccines and rapid distribution. China, alongside with many countries, stands at the forefront of global COVID-19 vaccine development. It now has the most jabs undergoing phase-3 clinical trials, according to a press conference held on Dec. 21, 2020.

Brazil:Brazil’s state-run Butantan Institute on Dec. 24, 2020 announced that the CoronaVac vaccine developed by the private Chinese laboratory Sinovac Life Science “is the safest vaccine on the market and achieved the superiority in efficacy required by the WHO and Brazil's Health Regulatory Agency (Anvisa)”.
Turkey:Turkey confirmed on Dec. 24, 2020 that the first shipment of a Chinese COVID-19 vaccine will arrive Monday and it is 91.25 percent effective in trials in Turkey, according to Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca.
Morocco:Morocco announced on Dec. 24, 2020 that it has secured acquisition of 65 million doses of two COVID-19 vaccines, developed by China's Sinopharm and Britain's Oxford University and AstraZeneca, Health Minister Khalid Ait Taleb said.
Philippines:Philippines vaccine czar Carlito Galvez, Jr. said the Philippines may receive COVID-19 vaccines from China and Russia in the first quarter of 2021, CNN Philippines reported on Dec. 2.

China-Japan:A China-Japan “fast track” for necessary personnel exchanges was launched in November, 2020. It is expected to further improve bilateral cooperation in the fight against the COVID-19 and get work and production back on track.
China-Thailand:China and Thailand agreed in October, 2020 to open a “fast lane” for personnel exchange and a “green channel” for goods exchange amid the COVID-19 pandemic, so as to promote the bilateral relations in the post-epidemic era.
China-Singapore:China and Singapore decided in April, 2020 to explore the establishment of an “express line” to ensure the necessary exchanges among the two peoples, and a “green channel” to guarantee the fast and convenient delivery of much-needed medical supplies.
