为了减少鸟撞，一些建筑已经开始采用鸟类友好设计。比如减少玻璃等反光材料的使用。如果有玻璃幕墙，那么一些窗户贴花可以让鸟撞减少84% ，防紫外线反射膜也能起到很大的作用。

在夜晚减少照明窗户面积，可以让鸟类的死亡率降低约60% 。如果我们不得不开灯，可以尽量拉上窗帘。

巴尔的摩等很多城市都曾发起保护鸟类的熄灯计划，通过在晚上 11 点至早上 6 点之间关闭非必要照明避免鸟撞。 | lights Out Baltimore
我们的城市也是鸟类的城市。当我们不断提升自己生活条件的同时，也别忘了，鸟类的生活环境也需要我们来维护和改善。
